BLACKMORES® Blue Light Defence is scientifically formulated with marigold extract that contains natural Lutein and Zeaxanthin. The optimal 5:1 ratio* is effective to increase macular pigment and filter the harmful blue light. This in turn protects the macular region and minimise the harms from screens to our eyes.

Lutein and zeaxanthin are fat soluble carotenoids which cannot be synthesized by our body. Lutein and zeaxanthin can absorb strong light at wavelength 390-515 nm, that help to reduce the harms to our retina. The higher the macular density, the healthier our eyes.
